The CAEC is a new adult education credential to replace the GED in Canada.

The GED® is no longer available in Canada effective May 3, 2024. The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) provides a high-quality, Canadian education credential to replace the GED®.

CAEC Preparation is for you if:

  • You did not complete high school and are over 18.

  • You are under 19 but will not have enough high school credits to graduate by age 20.

  • You need help preparing to write your CAEC or trade readiness exams

  • You need financial help with the materials and exams

Trade Readiness is for you if:

  • You are wanting to enter a trade, but are lacking your CAEC / highschool diploma.
