At Jasper Employment and Education Centre (JEEC), we believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities in the workforce. Our Supported Employment program is specifically designed to provide innovative job supports for individuals with barriers to employment, helping them succeed in their employment journey.
Through customized job search, skills development, work experience, job placement, and ongoing support, we empower participants to thrive in the workplace.
Are you eligible?
Our Supported Employment program is open to individuals living with a wide variety of disabilities, including mental, cognitive, developmental, physical, sensory, neurological, or any health conditions that require consideration.
Eligibility for this program requires you are:
An individual with barriers to employment living in Jasper
Eligible to work in Canada
Are 18 years of age or older
Demonstrate the readiness, willingness, and ability to work

What’s involved?
Once enrolled in our program, you'll receive ongoing aid and support from a dedicated Career Coach. They will guide you through the process, starting with an Employability Skills Assessment, and provide the following services:
Resume Review and Interview Preparation: Your Career Coach will help you craft a compelling resume and prepare for interviews, ensuring you present your skills and qualifications effectively.
Skill Review and Strengths Assessment: We'll assess your skills and identify your strengths to find the best fit for your abilities in the workplace.
Job Tryouts and Work Experience: You'll have opportunities to engage in job tryouts and gain valuable work experience to enhance your employability.
Individualized Service Planning: Our Career Coach will support you in conducting a targeted job search and securing a suitable job placement aligned with your skills and interests.
Weekly Meetings: You'll have regular meetings with your Career Coach to discuss your progress, address any challenges, and receive ongoing guidance.
Skills Development Workshops and Certifications: We offer workshops and certifications to enhance your skills and knowledge, boosting your professional growth and marketability.
On-the-Job Supports: Both participants and employers will receive on-the-job supports to ensure a smooth transition and success in the workplace.
Follow-Up Support: We provide follow-up support for three months once you're employed, ensuring a seamless transition and helping you maintain long-term success.
