Share your skills with the community. If you have the skills and teaching experience or want to develop those skills let us know. We are always looking for new instructors with skills to teach: digital literacy, languages, communication, customer service, public speaking, graphic design and more!

Volunteer Tutor Opportunities
Are you eager to contribute your expertise and make a positive impact on your community? Join us as a volunteer tutor with our Skills for Success Program and play a crucial role in helping individuals acquire the fundamental skills necessary for success in various aspects of their lives, including work and learning.
Becoming a tutor is a fulfilling experience. Our program welcomes volunteers who are willing to assist others in their growth journey. As a tutor, you'll have the opportunity to engage in both in-person and online tutoring sessions, allowing for flexibility in scheduling—whether it's during the morning, afternoon, or evening. We prioritize your convenience and the learner's needs.
Rest assured, we value your commitment and want to ensure a safe environment for all participants. Therefore, a Vulnerable Sector Check is required for all tutors. We facilitate the process by providing you with a letter designed for submission to the RCMP.
Embarking on this tutoring journey comes with its rewards. You'll receive comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and strategies. Our support doesn't end there; additional guidance is readily available whenever you need it.
But that's not all—by being a tutor, you're not only assisting others but also nurturing your own personal growth. The Jasper Employment and Education Centre is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community of Jasper for 46 years. Our mission is to create a vibrant learning community where adult learners feel confident and safe to participate in lifelong learning opportunities and to provide employment services in a respectful, confidential and professional manner.

This active Board of Directors provides direction and guidance to the organization, develops policies that give overall direction to the organization, and makes decisions to ensure that there are sufficient and appropriate human and financial resources for the organization to accomplish its work.
